Hotel Mangart - Bovec

The location is quite scenic, but it feels like the whole hotel needs a makeover. The beds are squeaky and old, not very comfortable for a 4-star. I would have appreciated a complimentary upgrade for my trouble, however, all I got was a simple room. Breakfast was okay, but definetely lacking variety.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, nestled in the lovely building with very professionalstaff. Varied and delicious breakfast with SAVOURY food. Friendly check in and late check out. Not to mention free parking for residents. Top location in the such beautiful area, so close to mountain, Soca valley and the fields and the high mountains nearby.

Wi-Fi was weak.

its quiet, central location was a plus. the staff was service-oriented, helpful. i booked a room with a good sized bed, a balcony and a telephone.

I had a lovely stay in a Luxury Suite where the spacious room and outdoor pool made everything so enjoyable, but the breakfast options were quite limited. I would return despite this.

I had reasonably large room complete with a Jacuzzi, view on the mountains and AC. It was very handy to have a refrigerator and glassware. The location was good and stunning, just next door to outskirts of Bovec, and Bovec from Rovinj, Croatia, in a very beautiful area.

Mountains, mountains, mountains... no more to say :-)

SPA (sauna) charged additionally, no information about this on the website, no real restaurant in the hotel (prepaid dinner was a joke!)

The outdoor pool was refreshing after exploring, and the location is perfect for hiking and local attractions.

The hotel is new, it has lovely views of the mountains. The food was good. It's at the end of town of Bovec, next to the road, but with a nice green area in front. It's a nice starting point for all sorts of activities. We liked it and would stay there again.

- Reserved room with balcony but did not get it - restaurant was kind of "strange" - food was very good but it just did not seemed that the hotel wants the people to have dinner in their restaurant - the location of the hotel is at the end of the city - but to center it is few minutes walk - it was just not mentioned in the description

great stay with minor issues

The hotel had an excellent outdoor pool that was refreshing after a day of exploring. I found the staff to be very friendly and eager to help. The luxury suite offered a fine mountain view.

Breakfast options felt somewhat limited compared to expectations.

The spa / wellness area is wonderful - well worth the money. The staff were very helpful. It is very easy to find, easy to park and only a short walk from the town centre. It is a new modern hotel. The area and town is very beautiful. The restaurants in the town serve great food and are very friendly. We especially liked the Letni Vrt. If you are skiing, get a ski pass vis the hotel as they sell them on special package deals.

The breakfasts were OK rather than good. The daily room cleaning was limited to making the beds - which left us with used tea cups etc. All v minor and didn't affect a great hotel and lovely stay

Just back from an excellent 3 day stay at the Mangart. We are 7 regular skiiers and this hotel was one of the best we've ever stayed at. The receptionist was regularly helping with our requests and in general the hotel staff made us feel very comfortable, late check out, use of showers etc. The Hotel itself was modern and spotless. The location is right on the edge of pretty Bovec, with a reasonable selection of Bars and restuarents within walking distance.

Only minor downpoint is the Spa facilites cost extra.

The location is perfect for adventuring near Mount Kanin Ski Resort.

My kids wished there were more activities for families.

Hotel is new and you need 7 minutes walking to center of the Bovec. You have LCD and very nice and clean bathroom! Ski center Kanin is 10minutes from the hotel. Very nice place that is surrounded with high mountains!

This hotel is relatively new, and modern by European standards. It is situated just outside of the village of Bovec, on the main road that skirts the town, so the hotel is easy to locate. You need to drive into the village, however, since the walk would take about 15 - 20 minutes.

The breakfast was not entirely satisfactory. The eggs were cold, and they ran out of the flavored yogurt within the first 10 minutes, since they were finishing-off the cartons from the previous day. Also, they ran out of hot water for tea, and it took a while for them to replenish it, after being requested to do so.
